Why battery storage is needed now
From FY2027, ground-mounted commercial solar will no longer be eligible for support under the FIT/FIP schemes (METI, announced March 2026). With purchase prices leveling off and curtailment growing year by year, the era of “generate and it sells” is coming to an end. Batteries that let you choose when and how to sell are shifting from one option among many to a prerequisite.
